Group Practice 1 (January 2025)
​Join Dr. Matthew Allison and the Solo of the Month community for a group practice of "Andante Pastoral" from Andante Pastoral et Scherzettino by Paul Taffanel.  This session covers a gentle, mindful warm up - both technical, with a focus on the g-minor scale, and tonal, slowing down harmonics and discovering how they can truly assist flute tone and intervals. 
Group Practice 2 (February 2025)
​Join Dr. Matthew Allison and the Solo of the Month community for a group practice of "Scherzettino" from Andante Pastoral et Scherzettino by Paul Taffanel.   This session covers double tonguing and applying the skill to the nimble passages of the faster movement.
